Method:Preheat oven to 190C
Grease 1 large ovenproof dish (24cm) or 6 portion dishes with butter.
Take 3-4 thawed sheets of puff pastry and line the dish/dishes and prebake on the middle shelf of the oven for 10-40 minutes depending on the size. Cool for 5 minutes
Melt butter in a saucepan, add flour, seasoning and stir continuously to make a smooth paste.Slowly whisk in the milk and then add the grated Jarlsberg. Take off the heat.
Pour the Jarlsberg sauce into the dish/dishes and layer the onion rings on top, sprinkle with brown sugar and bake for a further 15 minutes.
